Hello Everyone!
I want you all to know about something special we are doing at CrossFit Pulse starting Monday Feb 1st.
Get ready for the “I am CrossFit” Challenge. As we have discussed previously, CrossFit is not just a workout, but a lifestyle.
We want to help our members to experience the full benefit of what CrossFit has to offer, so we are encouraging everyone to participate in this challenge event.
The “I am CrossFit” challenge will cover roughly a 6 week time frame from February 1st to March 11th
To be certified “I am CrossFit”, you must participate in the following ways:
1. You must come to at least 3 workouts per week.
2. You must weigh in and have your body assessment done prior to starting on Feb 1st.
3. You must weigh in and have your body assessment done at the end of the “Challenge”.
4. You must participate in the pre-event workout that will take place during regular classes during the week of Feb 1st.
5. You must participate in the grand finale workout that will take place on March 11th.
6. You must commit to doing the your best diet “paleo” style. Basically eat lean meat, vegetables, some fruit, nuts, seeds, no starch, and no sugar.
7. Focus your mind and go for it! Do your best in the workouts and do your best do eat good stuff for 6 weeks. Watch good stuff happen!
Of course you will get an awesome “I am CrossFit” t-shirt for participating .
The cost for the Challenge is a measly $20.
The winners will be showcased and interviewed by ESPN which will be broadcast around the world…………….just kidding…………but you will be known among your friends as “I am CrossFit” and we will certainly cheer for you at the Grand Finale.
Winners will compete in 2 categories:
1. Body fat percentage and weight loss.
2. Overall results in the before and finale workouts.
For those of you that are already super fit and don’t need to lose any body fat, you will just compete with yourself in the timed workouts.
It will be super fun and a great way to really challenge yourself mentally and physically!
